Q2: What age group is this product suitable for?

The primary target is children ages 7-15, but MPF’s products appeal to people of all ages.

Teaching with the learning lap can simply be adapted to the appropriate level of the class or child in question.

For instance, for younger children, it can be used as a picture book with an emphasis on the story through which they can become aware of the diversity of the world. For older children, you could add related topics to each Step, or you could go beyond each Step into action taking on a global scale, such as international Home Stays and field studies on multicultural issues. Either way, it is hoped that the “10 Steps” will provide an eye opening opportunity.

Older children can also be taught subjects such as economics, politics, sociology and environmental studies which will enable them to understand the linkage of various issues and obtain personal skills that are required to be a leader in the 21st century. It is possible for them to experience a high level of paradigm shift. (Please use the Teaching Guide CD ROM as a reference).
